BBC World Class Assembly
We are so proud of our Year 6 pupils who perfomed an inspirational assembly for the whole school to mark the BBC World Assembly Day. They shared their feelings and dreams for their future as part of the theme 'what matters to us'.

Year 5 Sherman Dance

Bartley Visit
How lucky were we to have a visit from the Cardiff City mascot, Bartley. He presented prizes to some of our pupils who offered the highest bid for special signed items to raise money for our school.

Foundation Phase Disco
Foundation Phase pupils had a great time at their after school disco. What groovy dancers we have at Herbert Thompson! Thanks to all involved who worked so hard to make it a great event.

Indonesia Meets Wales
Staff and pupils welcomed two very special visitors from Indonesia, Surya Sukari, a High School Headteacher and Dirham Kusdarwati, a Junior School P.E. Co-ordinator (just like our Mrs Cunningham!). They had a wonderful time on our special day celebrating everything Welsh.

St. David's Day Celebrations
What a wonderful Welsh Week - welsh costume, singing, dancing, competitions, Welsh activities, cooking AND a special visit from our Indonesian friends!


New Football Kit
We now have a great new football kit thanks to our donation from Westridge Elementary. The new kit includes the school logo stitched on, along with a recognition to Westridge's generous donation.

World's Game Day

NQA Award Presentation
We are so proud to have been awarded the prestigious NQA Award for excellence in health and well being. Councillor Freda Salway kindly visited to present the award to the whole school.

Inspirational Visitor
Our latest 'Inspire' visitor was Jean Baptiste Bruzulier, a talented rugby player from Llandaff North who is currently training with the Saracens in London.
